The NFC East race could not have played out any better for the Dallas Cowboys this season. He has not thrown an interception in a game they've won yet. Dallas' eighth win in nine Thanksgiving games against Washington, and second in three years, earned a season split.
At midseason, Dallas was staggering with a bleak 3-5 won-lost tally, but owner Jerry Jones struck a deal with the Oakland Raiders, swapping his 2019 number one draft selection for 24-year-old wide receiver Amari Cooper at the trade deadline. Colt McCoy is their new starting quarterback.
However, it is a contest that the Cowboys will be without some key factors on both sides of the ball as star linebacker Sean Lee, defensive tackle David Irving, and wide receiver Tavon Austin have each been ruled out of the game, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Redskins beat the Cowboys 20-17 at home back in Week 7 but to get the season sweep they will have to do so without quarterback Alex Smith, who broke two bones in his right leg in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to Houston. Cooper's other TD was a 40-yarder. This time, he opted to put teammate Dak Prescott in the kettle after his impressive touchdown run on Thanksgiving.

Cowboys’ Amari Cooper Motivated to Prove Cowboys Right
But McCoy settled in with a couple of third-down passes to Jordan Reed to keep drives going, then hit Vernon Davis in stride on a 53-yard touchdown - the longest Washington completion of the season - for a 7-7 tie. "For some reason, since I've been here, the chemistry with Dak has phenomenal". They have a lot of momentum going into this game, winning their last two on the road, when no one really expected them to do so.
"Just so proud of the way he's handled this", Prescott said.
Redskins running back Adrian Peterson left briefly in the first quarter with a shoulder injury but returned. We lost the game on defense two weeks in a row.
The Cowboys will have a normal week to prepare for the 10-1 New Orleans Saints, playing again on Thursday Night Football in week 13.
