Devin far right has passed away

Musician Brad Fischetti, the last surviving member of LFO, is mourning the recent death of friend and band mate Devin Lima.

Devin Lima arrives at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center on February 8, 2006 in Los Angeles, California.

Lima was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer in 2017.

Rich Cronin, the lead singer for LFO, died eight years ago after a long battle with leukemia. As well as Summer Girls, the stars enjoyed hits with Girl on TV and Every Other Time, and released two albums.

This is a developing story. His band member Brad Fischetti announced past year that Lima had been diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer.

The band were originally a trio consisting of Rich Cronin, Brian "Brizz" Gilli and Brad Fischetti; though Brian left in 1999 after growing frustrated with the lack of progress the group were making. When doctors removed the tumour they found it was malignant; turning out to be stage four cancer. As the boy band trend died down and sales proved disappointing, LFO disbanded in February 2002.

"Our new single "Perfect 10" was inspired by our fans and written for our fans", Fischetti told Entertainment Weekly at the time. "No one has a stronger body, mind or soul and if anybody can defeat this, it's Devin", he added. "To his six kids, he was a father, to their mother, a wonderful partner", the singer continued.

In 2017, Brad and Devin recorded the song ideal 10, which was released just months before Devin underwent a kidney removal in his cancer fight. "He was a son, a brother, a friend and beloved by so many".

"My friends - Harold "Devin" Lima has disappeared".
