Mowry-Housley and her husband, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, confirmed their niece was a victim in the mass shooting in a statement. We just learned that our Alaina was one of the victims of last night's shooting at Borderline Bar in Thousand Oaks.
Housley arrived at the Los Robles Regional Medical Center around 3:30 a.m. this morning looking for his niece, 18-year-old Pepperdine freshman Alaina Housley, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Adam Housley immediately dashed to the nearest local hospital in search of information about Alaina Housley, but he was reportedly barred from entrance because the hospital is understandably on lockdown.
She responded to Mowry-Housley saying that she had already been in contact with her husband. "I'm hoping I'm wrong". I'm a lover of words, photography, books, travel, animals and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He noted that his niece's Apple devices showed the bar's dance floor as her current location. The suspect, since identified as Ian David Long, was found dead at the scene. She told the actress her niece is the only person who remains missing.
People comfort each other as they stand near the scene, November 8, 2018, in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where a gunman opened fire Wednesday inside a country dance bar crowded with hundreds of people on "college night".
Adam asked his Twitter followers to pray and expressed hope for a positive outcome.
"Alaina Housley we are praying", Mowry wrote in the caption.
Tia Mowry, who starred with her twin in the TV show "Sister Sister", posted an image of a young Alaina between the two Mowry sisters at one of their weddings.
Woke up shocked. Please pray. We love u! If you know anything or any information please let us know.
