The watch is the lightest and most colourful option that Fossil offers, with eight new colours: "Blush, ' "Red, ' 'Grey, ' 'Light Blue, ' 'Black, ' 'Smokey Blue" and a 'Neon" colour that is more or less yellow. According to Fossil, the Sport will last a full day in full smartwatch mode and then an additional two days in a low-power, time-telling only mode. There's NFC for Google Pay, GPS, 5 ATM water resistance, a heart-rate monitor and an altimeter. It has a nylon and aluminium casing and silicon bands in 18mm and 22mm - there's 28 band and bracelet styles available for customisation too. This is pretty standard for Fossil smartwatches. We don't have the exact weight or display resolution just yet, but we've asked Fossil for clarification on this. The fitness-oriented Wear OS device will run the latest version of Wear OS with a revamped fitness and navigation UI. On the software side, Fossil has included three watch faces that integrate with Google Fit to help track your fitness, and Fossil has also preloaded apps like Spotify and Noonlight.
The Fossil Sport will retail for $255 and will be available at retail stores around the world starting November 12th. Just where it ranks among the long list of Wear watches remains to be seen. The Fossil Sport can be acquired in 41-millimeter or 43-millimeter sizes.
