Harry and Meghan to visit Brighton and Hove

MEGHAN-MARKLE

Regardless, etiquette expert William Hanson told Radio 1 Newsbeat that her decision to close her own door doesn't go against protocol, according to BBC News.

Meghan Markle has attended the opening of a new "Oceania" exhibition - featuring items from New Zealand and Polynesia - in her first royal solo outing since marrying Prince Harry in May.

But since then, it has been observed that Meghan hasn't spoken much about her acting career or Suits and focusing on her royal duties and charity work.

Another Twitter user responded by sharing a small clip of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, shutting her own vehicle door after seeing tweets claiming it's rare for a royal to do it.

Others came to her defense, tweeting that she is "completely down to earth and humble".

This was Meghan's first royal event without her husband Prince Harry. Whether they're out on a royal engagement or hanging out with family, Harry is always doting on Meghan and never misses a chance to gush about her. When Prince William and Kate Middleton got married, they became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Kensington Palace released a statement from Meghan two days before her wedding on May 19, which confirmed the news that he would not be present on her big day.

"Whether she thought long and hard about it before it happened, I doubt it, I suspect it was force of habit, but it is interesting to see that many have noticed as usually dignitaries have a member of staff to do this for them".

Markle left the series past year along with Patrick J Adams who was her on-screen love interest.

"Meghan clearly just shut the door out of force of habit".

The Duke said: "I was staggered by the beauty and sheer remoteness of this incredible landscape".

"I don't think I've ever seen a member of the royal family do that before. This is nearly twice the 26 per cent who think she should dedicate herself to Royal duties".

While the duchess remains in England with her children, William has embarked on his own solo tour of Africa featuring stops also in Tanzania and later Kenya, where he proposed to his wife of seven years.
