Singer Ariana Grande has paid tribute to rapper Mac Miller on her Instagram. Following the initial report of Miller's passing, people started flooding the "No Tears Left To Cry" singer's Instagram posts with comments like, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT", "You lowkey evil", and "It's insane because you really did kill him", according to screenshots shared by Pop Crave.
The singer posted a stark black-and-white image of Miller gazing up at her. Knowing someone's mind, their vulnerabilities and their demons, it's hard not to worry if they'd be OK in break-up. Rest in peace Mac.
"A lot of times in my life I've put this pressure to hold myself to the standard of whatever I thought I was supposed to be, or how I was supposed to be perceived", he told the NY magazine's Vulture website. "We join all of his fans across the globe in extending our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends".
Grande and Miller had dated for about two years before breaking up earlier this year.
In 2011, Miller wrote a song about becoming fabulously wealthy and, seeking a metaphor, entitled the song "Donald Trump". "It's very dope and I like how that worked out".
A devastated Ariana fled home to America and Mac was waiting for her when her private jet touched down. He was with her during the tragic event in Manchester, England when a terrorist killed 22 people with a bomb at her concert.
Post Malone said Miller "changed so many lives", while Chance The Rapper said he was "one of the sweetest guys I ever knew". You will be missed and you are gone way too soon.
From the outpouring of support and messages of love, it seems Miller's music will live on in locker rooms across the National Basketball Association for years to come. And then it came to an end and we both moved on.
