Chelsea midfielder Jorginho agreed terms on a move to Manchester City before moving to Stamford Bridge, but Napoli failed to settle on a fee with the English champions, the player's agent has confirmed.

Fabregas, who was left out of the 23-man Spanish squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, had a solid pre-season under new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri but was struck by a peculiar knee injury just before the 2018/19 season got underway.

"Then Chelsea asked what the situation was after Sarri arrived and Jorginho went to London".

"The differences between the Premier League and Serie A?"

Despite losing his place with The Blues this season, Moses has been efficient in the Europa League, with four goals in six matches during the 2012-2013 season. "It is also quite hard to explain certain things", Jorginho was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.

"I do not know yet, we will do the accounts in April-May, but I do not exclude any possibility". Although the competition might seem to small for a top level club like the Blues, they are tipped to be one of the favourites to take home the trophy at the end of the season.

He said: "When you see the [Champions League] draw on TV, the groups and your team is not there, I felt like smashing the TV set".

Although it was not Jorginho's original plan to move to London, his agent claims he is loving his time at the club - helped by their winning streak.

"We'll see how it goes, with the decision to be made on the pitch". The Blues host Cardiff on September 15 before going to West Ham the following week. He's been one of the players of the season so far, his performances reflect his contentment with life as a Chelsea player.

He completed 27 more passes than the whole Newcastle side could manage and edged closer to setting a new record for the most passes completed in a single Premier League game.
