Google Pixel 3 tipped to launch on 9 October

The folks at XDA tweaked a recent Google App beta into firing up a UI that would typically only work with the Pixel 3 docked.

Were you looking forward to the Pixel Watch becoming a reality this year? Top and bottom bezels are not completely gone, but are a major improvement over the Pixel 2's massive chin and forehead. The phone will have a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080, running at 60Hz and 440ppi. As expected, the battery receives a small but noticeable increase to a 2,915mAh battery compared to the Pixel 2's 2,700mAh battery. There is a single camera on the rear just like that of the Pixel 3 XL and a fingerprint scanner too.

Just when we thought we had seen all the possible leaks for Google's upcoming Pixel 3, Reddit is asking the Russians to hold its beer. The smartphone appears to have a glossy finish and long volume rocker and power button.

While it's a touch hard to make out, the image of the phone's face also appears to be sporting two front-facing cameras. Since the Pixel 3 has a full-glass back we believe it will also support wireless charging. The Pixel 3 will apparently start showing Google Assistant when the phone is docked, and the interface has now leaked. When asked what the "ideal Pixel Watch" might look like, Barr said that the device would integrate Google Assistant and machine learning in big ways, which isn't surprising in the slightest considering how important Assistant is to Google these days.

According to a report, Google is working on a mid-range Pixel smartphones aimed mainly at India and emerging markets.
