TMZ reports that a store in Astoria, Queens, New York turned over video surveillance of a break in to police, and the footage supposedly shows Young and a male in the act.
Surveillance video reportedly captured the actress breaking into an office in Queens, accompanied by a man.
The NYPD confirmed that Young, 58, is wanted for questioning regarding the incident.
According to a report in the ONTD blog, Young had been directing a film titled "Charley Boy" for the production company, but was sacked four months ago due to a dispute with producers.
The eccentric star was sued for harassment by James Woods, her co-star in the 1988 drama The Boost, who claimed she had menaced him and his then-fiancee, and ran a weird campaign aimed at convincing Tim Burton to cast her as Catwoman rather than Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns.
