Sources told TMZ that Lovato's family spoke with her about checking into treatment after she started feeling better, and she is consenting.
The former Disney star has spent the past week being cared for by doctors after suffering complications - including a high fever and severe nausea - from the alleged overdose.
As we reported, the Sorry Not Sorry singer has agreed to go back to rehab following an apparent overdose at her Hollywood Hills house.
Demi Lovato is apparently ready to be released from hospital any day now, and TMZ are reporting that she's heading to a rehab facility.

"Demi has been in the hospital for over a week because she needed to be monitored by a medical professional", the source said. It's now reportedly seeking help at a rehab center and addressing her sobriety issues head on!
The bodyguard went to her side and gave her first aid before paramedics arrived.
"She understands the severity of her overdose and the recovery has been very challenging for he". The bodyguard, assistant and other members of her team were aware she was no longer sober.
An insider explained: "Demi has told the people close to her that she is serious about her sobriety, and plans to do whatever it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle moving forward".
