As mentioned, the phone also comes with the company's GPU Turbo technology which is said to boost the GPU performance by 60% and at the same time, it keeps the battery life in check. Thus, it will be interesting to see how the Honor Play, will perform. The best part is that there is also an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model that costs $525, making it only the second Honor-branded smartphone to feature 8GB of RAM. The device is the successor to the Honor Note 8, which was launched in 2016. A 5,000mAh battery is included in the Honor Note 10, and it supports Huawei's Super Charge fast charging. However, the storage for the smartphone can be further expanded using a microSD card of up to 256GB. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. And on top of it, the Honor Note 10 features symmetric stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Interestingly, Honor has added a PC-level liquid cooling system called "The Nine" cooling technology.
The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side, and the device is backed by a beefy 5000mAh battery. The hardware button for the Double Turbo feature can be used as a shutter when using the camera app. The phone will be made available through a flash sale, with limited devices expected to be on sale.
The Honor Note 10 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, though on top of it, you will find Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) skin, in this case, we're looking at variants 8.2, which is the latest Huawei introduced to date. The 64GB and 128GB variants will be available starting 12pm IST tomorrow in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colour options only. The phone also supports smart scene recognition and so-called "AI stablization" for night mode shots. This phone's facial scanning uses the device's front-facing camera in order to operate, and it should work just fine if the company's previous smartphones are anything to go by. Other than RAM and storage differences, all the Honor Note 10 variants are identical.
