EPIC GAMESFortnite season 5 map changes- Paradise Palms Lazy Links and Desert locations added

Two new locations have been linked to the new desert terrain, Paradise Palms and Lazy Links.

Now that Season 5 is underway, the Battle Star for the Week 1 challenges has been discovered with the hint coming via the loading screen that is unlocked following the completion of the necessary challenges.

What has changed in the season 5 map?

Like other challenges that task you with tracking down certain items, the Lightning Bolts can be found in various parts of the island.

A new vehicle, called the All Terrain Kart (ATK), has made its way from the real world into the Fortnite world as well.

Finding the Risky Reels Treasure Map is one of the Battle Pass Challenges in Season 5 of Fortnite. There's also a whole bunch of new outfits, emotes, and more to look forward to. The season 5 Battle Pass will run through September 25. If you had the Season 4 Battle Pass you'll get some free levels on this one to kick start your progress, but there's also a change this time to how challenges are handled. The golf cart can hold up to four players, has drifting speed boosts and has a roof that players can use as a bounce pad. If you've found anymore that aren't listed in the image above, feel free to drop us a tip in the comment section so we can make sure to add it to this list! "You're in for a wild ride", writes Epic Games in the description of the rifts. As always, keep in mind to finish out the match you're in once you've completed a challenge in order to be sure you get credit for it. The heavy shotgun now fires 10 pellets instead of 5, but the maximum damage of the weapon has been unchanged. You'll also be able to see how numerous pellets from a shot hit the target, which will be displayed by marks within the reticle, allowing you to see at a glance how effective your shot was.

In 50v50 or 20v20 modes, you'll now get bonus XP up to three times per match for reviving teammates.
