Blackmagic Design Ships Blackmagic eGPU for MacBook Pro

Apple rumoured to be releasing a linewide hardware refresh this year

Apple Upgrades MacBook Pro With Improved Keyboard, True Tone Display, More

Apple says the larger new MacBook Pro is as much as 70 per cent faster than the previous model, while the smaller version is up to twice as fast as its predecessor. The unit will bring high-end desktop-class graphics processing to MacBook Pro for professional video workflows while also being the first to support Thunderbolt 3 displays.

Hoping Apple's refreshed MacBook Pro - just announced today - would include a keyboard that can't be damaged by a little dust? Apple 15-inch MacBook Pro feature True Tone display.

The 15-inch models feature 16GB of more powerful DDR4 RAM and the six-core i7 processor with regular speeds up to 2.6GHz and turbo of up to 4.3GHz.

For power users, the 4th-generation, quad-core Core i7 chip is just not going to cut it anymore. Both also offer up to 4TB and 2TB of solid state storage respectively.

Beloved by many, the 2015 MacBook Pro had a number of features that have since been changed or have disappeared entirely from new MacBook Pro models. Interestingly, consumers don't have to wait long to purchase them in Malaysia though as these new notebooks are available for order through Apple Malaysia's website.

Kuo also predicted that Apple will replace its older MacBook Air with a new budget laptop.

Officially, the 2015 MacBook Pro was superseded in late 2016 by the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Apple continues to insist that only a very small percentage of keyboards fail due to small bits of grit and dust getting stuck in keys (though it made a fix warranty extension program all the same), and I know many people who have run into just this problem with their keyboards. In addition, the Blackmagic eGPU supports Metal graphics technology from Apple, which provides near-direct access to the GPU for maximizing graphics and compute performance with games and applications.

Available in Saddle Brown, Midnight Blue and Black, the sleeve is created to keep your notebook safe.

Apple claims it's introducing a third generation of its recently-maligned butterfly keyboards with these notebooks to make for quieter typing, too.

Besides that, the two models also come Retina displays that feature 500 nits of brightness and support for the P3 wide color gamut. A redesign will undoubtedly come along eventually-they always do.
