New Hitman Announcement Teased for This Week

Warner Bros and IO Interactive will announce Hitman 2, logo gets leaked prior to official reveal

If there is a new Hitman game in the works, WB Games will be the distributor.

The official Hitman account tweeted out a little teaser yesterday, promising something to be revealed on June 7.

As announced earlier in the year, Warner Bros and IO Interactive are now partners, with the former publishing the latter's games. Games website last night and was saved on Resetera.

The new logo, which was quickly spotted by Eurogamer before being pulled, removes nearly all doubt: we're about to see Hitman 2 (here's the logo's original URL if you're curious, or if you enjoy 404 errors). If this doesn't scream a new game then I don't know what will. Games or developer IO Interactive on the sequel, but it seems all too likely that come Thursday, we'll get a new look at what's in store from Agent 47's next assignment.

The next entry in the Hitman series has been leaked ahead of its revealed later this week. Hitman made a comeback in 2016 with an original episodic release structure instead of a full game, which included "Season 1" stories and gameplay. Make sure to keep an eye out for even more leaks before E3 starts next week!
