Arsenal have break clause in Unai Emery contract

GETTY Unai Emery has taken over at Arsenal

Midfielder Ramsey only has 12 months remaining on his current contract and he will be sold if he does not agree an extension.

The 27-year old Wales global is entering the final 12 months of his deal at the Emirates and could leave on a free transfer next summer.

Aaron Ramsey intimates that he will sign a new deal with Arsenal. The new contract would see the Wales star net a substantial pay increase. And now, if a report from the Daily Telegraph is to be believed, Arsenal will put the midfielder up on the transfer market if he denies signing the new deal.

Arsene Wenger is looking to join a club with "ambition" following his departure from Arsenal, where he served as manager for 22 years. The 27-year-old has been with Arsenal since joining from Cardiff back in 2008. Since then Ramsey has played 331 senior games for the Gunners in all competitions, scoring 59 goals.

Adli made just the single Ligue 1 appearance for PSG last season, but has been handed a new contract offer by the club.

Emery is said to be happy with the contractual arrangement as he gets ready to start work in his seventh managerial position within the space of 14 years.

There is a belief in the Arsenal camp that Ramsey intends to stay at the club and wishes to prolong his career at the Emirates.

Adli has apparently had long conversations with Emery already, and the project the manager has in mind for Arsenal has apparently convinced the starlet to make the move.
