Rudy Giuliani Booed By Fans At New York Yankees Game After Stadium Announcer Wishes Him A Happy Birthday

"The New York Yankees wish a very happy birthday to Mayor Giuliani!" exclaimed the announcer Monday, prior to the stadium echoing with boos from every section.

However Giuliani did see the Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox, 9-6, on May 10th.

The former mayor returned to the public eye last month as personal attorney for President Donald Trump, a move which appears to have won him no love from the Yankees fans.

"When the day of infamy came, Giuliani seized it as if he had been waiting for it all his life", Time said. Speaking with anchor Dana Bash, the president's legal adviser admitted much of the president's assertions about "Spygate" were "an intentional strategy to undermine the investigation". In 2006, Giuliani was America's most popular politician, and looked to be a lock to win the Republican presidential nomination. Giuliani was also brought on to arrange a possible interview between Trump and Mueller, as a final step.

Giuliani was at the ballpark on his 74th birthday with his son. Word of the reaction from the Yankees fans spread quickly across social media, with many of Giuliani's critics taking the opportunity to gloat.

The former NY mayor found people at his old stomping ground weren't that happy to see him, as he celebrated his 74 birthday watching baseball.

The Yankees lost to the Astros, 5-1.
