It will have a 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ AMOLED display, and dual cameras on the back. The rear panel will have magnetic strips to support past and new Moto Mods.
Motorola India had recently teased the launch of the six generation devices under its G and E series of smartphones. From what seems like internal Lenovo documentation, images of the Moto Z3 Play have allegedly obtained alongside an upcoming 5G Moto Mod.
The Moto G6 Play will carry a 5.7-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 427 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo operating platform. The fingerprint scanner is now on the right side, and for the very first time, Motorola is going for a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The front comes with a tall display, with minimal side bezels, though the top and bottom bezels are quite noticeable. There's no word on the G6 Play, though. It'll be available with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storage, but it's likely we'll see the 4GB/64GB option as the standard model for India. Originally the smartphones were first launched in the United States without any further information regarding its availability in other countries.
There are no details about the upcoming 5G Moto Mod, but it is expected that with this Mod, the Z series phones will get 5G Connectivity.
"We are happy to tell you that your Moto G5s Plus will receive the Official Android 8.0 Oreo Software update soon". The phone could come with Moto Z "Power" Edition with Battery Moto Mod, Style Edition with Style Shell, Gamepad Edition with Gamepad Mod and Moto Z "Projection" Edition that will come loaded with Projector Mod. The Moto Z3 Play is being touted as one of the "thinnest premium design" so even with mods attached the phone shouldn't be unwieldy.
