Chris Paul trolls Steph Curry with Steph Curry shimmy

NBA Playoffs Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

Rockets push defending champ Warriors to the brink

"I feel great about where we are right now", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the Houston Rockets took a 3-2 series lead with a 98-94 win Thursday night.

The series now returns to Houston this evening with the Rockets holding home-court advantage and they know they can ill-afford any slip-ups to reach the NBA Finals. That served to ignite him.

But putting away a team as good as Golden State won't be easy, and now the Rockets will take their first crack at it on the road without CP3.

Steph Curry discusses the relationship he had with Chris Paul early in his career, learning about discipline and work ethic in his rookie season.

Included in that scoring output was a shot clock-beating 3-pointer in the fourth quarter.

After combining for zero points on 0-of-4 shooting in the first quarter, Curry and Thompson started building momentum in the second and closed the half with 18 combined points.

Paul arguably has been the Rockets' best player against the Warriors in the conference finals.

Each team wound up with as many turnovers as assists.

The Warriors have won two out of the last three National Basketball Association titles and are widely considered to be the best team in the league since the Michael Jordan-era Chicago Bulls. He's shot 46 percent from the field and 37 percent from three. If the Warriors force a Game 7, it will be held Monday night in Houston.

Golden State, whose streak of 16 straight home playoff wins was halted by the Rockets on Tuesday, will try to fend off elimination when they host Game 6 on Saturday.

"The last two games, we've done that". "We're right there. We found some things tonight that worked for us".
