The Baltimore Ravens were again involved in trades on Day 2, trading back twice as Ozzie accumulates more Day 3 picks.
Brown is the son of the late Orlando "Zeus' Brown, who spent part of his 11-year National Football League career as a tackle with the Ravens".
"I'm so incredibly blessed to have this opportunity", with the Ravens, said Brown, who pointed out that he was born in 1996, the year the Ravens franchise began.
If he exceeds expectations in spring practices and training camp, Brown will compete for Baltimore's starting right-tackle job.
"We're trying to win this year".
At pick 86, the Baltimore Ravens select Mark Andrews, the tight end from Oklahoma.
At the NFL Combine, the 6-foot-1, 236-pound Young ran a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash, tied for the ninth best among linebackers at the event, and put up 23 reps on bench press.
The second and third rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft concluded Friday night, but there are still plenty of names remaining for the final rounds today. When the Ravens have been successful, they have used two tight ends in the past so this gives insurance, as Andrews is a young tight end, and helps the Ravens passing game further.
"A dream come true", Hurst said via his twitter account.
The Ravens go into the final day of the draft with seven more picks - three in the fourth round, one in the fifth round, two in the sixth round and one in the seventh round.
"Another long day", Newsome said after his work was done.
