We're still not entirely sure exactly when Motorola will officially unveil the 2018 G6 series, but it should be soon - possibly later this month, or early May - since a complete set of renders for all three expected models has been posted online, courtesy of Twitter user Ishan Agarwal. Now just a few days ahead of the official launch, the Moto G6 has been listed on Amazon Canada's website. Three new devices are expected; the Moto G6 Lite, Moto G6 and the top model, the Moto G6 Plus.
The Moto G6 Plus also made a score of 866 and 4123 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests respectively. All three Moto G6 phones are expected to sport full-screen displays. The Moto G6, from what we know so far, will also sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display like the G6 Play. Going by our exclusive image of the Moto G6 Plus, the phone has a front-facing fingerprint reader. However, the fingerprint sensor has been positioned on the back of the handset. The rear camera will apparently be a dual-sensor 12MP and 5MP with an LED flash. The smartphone also comes with a dual-camera. The device will also be sporting a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front camera and will be backed by a 4000mAh battery with TurboPower charging tech. The render of the Moto G6 Play, in particular, confirms that it will likely be the only model with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor while the other two will see the sensor placed below the display. The specs sound very promising and it is confirmed that this will be a mid-range smartphone from Motorola powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Previous rumors suggested it will have a Full HD+ display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
