Ford has sold more than 16 million units of the Focus since its launch in 1998, almost seven million of which found homes in Europe. What will be under the hood when the new Focus reaches the USA and Canada is another unknown. In an attempt to elevate the Focus' premium feel, Ford has added soft-touch materials to the dashboard and door trims and polished glass and brushed finishes for the door trims and air vent surrounds.
Drivers can charge their mobile devices on a new charging pad located under the instrument panel. Meanwhile, the company is focused on tailoring vehicles to individual markets worldwide while cutting costs by reducing design options. Pricing also wasn't announced. Each grade boasts a slightly different appearance and equipment levels.
