Terrorists kill abducted youth in J&k's Hajin, body recovered

While the father managed to escape with bullet injuries, Ahmad's headless body was found in an orchard.

Besides Hurriyat, the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti and former CM Omar Abdullah also reacted to the brutal murder of Hajin youth Manzoor Ahmad who was abducted few days, and have termed the incident as highly condemnable.

He was also responsible for launching terrorists from Bandipora area of North Kashmir to South Kashmir including Fidayeen, who attacked EDI in Pampore area of Pulwama twice last year, CRPF convoy in Pampore and Fidayeen in Nowhatta last year.

The police spokesperson further informed the media that terrorists led by Kashmiri militant Mohd Saleem Parrey barged into Bhat's house and abducted him along with his father. However, Gaffar later managed to escape from the militants in an injured condition after he was sacked upon.

This was the second such incident in Hajin area during the past less than a week. The injured was rushed to local hospital from where he was later referred to Srinagar.

The association appealed to the conscientious International Community and Indian civil society to raise voice against the repressive rule and gross human rights violations and state terrorism in Indian held Jammu & Kashmir and let the people there live in peace with dignity.

A case has been registered and an investigation is under way.

Police said before abducting father-son duo, terrorists thrashed the family members black-and-blue without caring about the dignity of inmates.

He identified foreign militants of LeT as Abu Muslim, Hubaib, Khalid, Abu Hamza and Haider.

Police had blamed Lashkar-e-Toiba militants for the killing of Manzoor.
