As expected, there's at least one vending machine in almost every named location on the map. If you find yourself with too many resources and not enough firepower in your matches, vending machines could very well be the answer to your problems. That rarity dictates the price, with the rarer items demanding more mats.
When you've tracked down a Fortnite vending machine, you'll be able to trade some of your materials for a weapon. Vending Machines will offer a distinct offensive advantage for players who utilize them smartly, but also force them to choose wisely about how they use their materials. This week's Fortnite Week 7 challenge will have you scouring the map for the locations of Hidden Gnomes.
Another week means another set of Fortnite Battle Royale challenges are available for players of the incredibly popular Epic Games title to complete and earn rewards from. If you are short on time, you can pickaxe it to skip to the next three items.
Items found in a Common (white) version will cost 100 materials. Players will still get new features every week without the need for an update.
Items found in an Uncommon (green) version will cost 200 materials.
Higher tiers will require more materials, with Epic tier weapons, for example, costing a staggering 500 materials.
On top of all of that, there will also be a number of different adjustments to other weapons, which will be getting First Shot Accuracy. With a recent slew of problems that have affected the game from server issues to game related bugs like the shotgun critical damage glitch, Epic has chose to slow its schedule and release a new patch every two weeks.
