Last night, John Legend took the stage as Jesus Christ in NBC's rock-musical Jesus Christ Superstar, a play that tells the story of Jesus' last week alive.
Citing metered market data, NBC says the show drew a 6.0 overnight household rating from 8-10:15PM ET. Another spin on Jesus Christ's last days, one that relied on eclectic pop tunes rather than a familiar songbook, failed to drum up much heat.
Once again, Chrissy Teigen has show that sometimes a tweet is worth a thousand words. Later on she joked, "I have no idea what's going on I'm assuming these people are bad because coats", and "Oh s**t the lepers that was the rehearsal I brought (daughter) Luna to". Chrissy Teigen, the other half of America's most ideal celebrity couple, was understandably excited for her husband. Entertainment Weekly enjoyed his performance, writing, "For an extra dose of charisma, we needed to look no further than Alice Cooper, who delivered a delicious dose of camp as King Herod". He was joined by Alice Cooper as King Herod, Brandon Victor Dixon as Judas, Ben Daniels as Pontius Pilate and Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene, among others.
