Blue Ivy has proven once again who wears the pants in the Carter household and having revealed her expensive taste, we reckon they're priceless, diamond encrusted pants.
"There is something that feels very off about receiving this award from my mother", she joked in her acceptance speech for their Humanitarian Award. "She raised four kids and she did the best job with me", the "4:44" rapper said.
The Carters attended the gala to support the event organized by Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson. The "Halo" hitmaker, who was twinning with Blue in a gorgeous gold ensemble which channeled her inner Nubian warrior queen Amanishakheto, was also seen laughing. As far as our headline is concerned, Blue Ivy may be youngster, but it's clear she already has an eye for the "good stuff".
Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter created a viral moment when she threw up bids at an art auction to the tune of Dollars 19,000. As host Star Jones calls out the next piece of work, Blue raises her paddle in the air, bidding a hefty $17,000. According to reports from Vanity Fair, Blue successfully bid on a piece by Samuel Levi Jones for $10,000.
"We felt it was the flawless inspiration when designing for such a strong woman like Beyonc", the designers told the magazine. Beyoncé also received the highest honor an American can achieve: an "I love you" from Michelle Obama.
"I think the real reason I feel weird to receive this award from my mother is because I feel like I should be giving her an award tonight".
