WWE reveals WrestleMania plan for Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey will return at the Elimination Chamber

WWE Admin Ronda Rousey will return at the Elimination Chamber

After slamming Triple H threw a table, his wife raced to his side and delivered a slap across Rousey's face before scampering away. The men will be vying for a shot at the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania against Brock Lesnar, and they too will have some minor history, with seven men inside the Chamber for the first time instead of the traditional six. During that appearance, Rousey jumped in the ring and got involved alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson before mixing it up with the two WWE executives.

Rousey quickly went from an emotional mess fighting back tears while paying homage to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper in her opening remarks to the badass we saw win her first 12 MMA fights after interrupting a conversation in the ring between Triple H and "Monday Night Raw" general manager Kurt Angle.

Having heard that, Rousey made a decision to strike first, slamming Triple H through a table in the middle of the ring.

Angle had one more quip to add.

"He is really my inspiration for how I handled my MMA career and me even coming here at all", she said at the start of the segment. Just as had happened at WrestleMania 31, though, a face-to-face between Triple H and Rousey didn't end well for the former.

After a war of words and some stare-downs, Rousey put Triple H through a table and scared off Stephanie right before she signed her official contract.

Rousey was introduced by the latter pair, who lavished her with praise in a clearly exaggerated fashion, suggesting they had an ulterior motive.

Ronda Rousey may have "lost her smile" in UFC, but the new WWE Superstar was grinning from ear-to-ear as she walked into the arena before Elimination Chamber. Rousey reached over the fallen Triple H, picked up the contract, signed it, and Rousey's road to WrestleMania officially became clearer.
