Samsung Galaxy S9 to reportedly hit shelves by March 16

Samsung are gearing up for the launch of their new Galaxy S9phone at Mobile World Congress this weekend. But its uncertainty is imminent as Flipkart could also be one of Samsung's launch partners for the new flagships.

Samsung Galaxy S9 series will arrive in India after the global launch, but the date hasn't been confirmed. Another version is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU. They will both have an 8MP front-facing camera and a 12MP main shooter but the bigger device will reportedly have dual lens. It offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.

But while the Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, the Galaxy S9+ will come with 6GB RAM with WinFuture reporting 64GB storage here as well. This smartphone is said to have extremely thin bezels, along with a 2.5D curved glass protection on top. The teaser confirms that India will be among first countries to get the Galaxy S9. Both the sensors will also likely have optical zoom. The report does point out that the device might not make its way to China as the number is considered unlucky.

Samsung Galaxy MWC 2018 press conference: What will be launched?

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 series in just a few days in Barcelona, Spain. Prices for the Galaxy S8 started at around $725 while the Galaxy S8+ started at $850.

All this news was delivered through the company's official Twitter handle.

The supposed European pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup leaked online earlier today, having been shared by known industry insider Evan Blass. The Galaxy S9 is much more smaller than the dimensions provided on the retail box.

Samsung Galaxy S9 has been one such most sought device. The S9 will come equipped with a single snapper, while the S9+ will get a dual camera setup. For comparison, the Z5 compact, bottom, is more angular.
