Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who on Thursday inaugurated the new Civil Secretariat complex and Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, said that the Centre wants to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.

Exhorting the people of the state to oust the CPI (M) government from power, the Prime Minister said, "They (CPI-M ) will have to answer about all their wrongdoings in the last 25 years".

Modi will later travel to Tripura where he is expected to address two rallies ahead of the February 18 Assembly election.

Three days before the BJP faces the CPI (M) in its bastion of Tripura in a tightly-contested electoral wrestle, PM Narendra Modi held two rallies in the state, urging the gathering of hundreds that came out to listen to him to show a red light to the Reds.

While addressing masses at a public reception organized in honour of Prime Minister Khandu said.

Now, his present Arunachal visit has brought huge expectations among the people of the state, he said.
