See 2017's best movie Get Out for free on Presidents' Day

Universal Pictures and Jordan Peele are thanking fans for their support over the past year by teaming with AMC Theatres for special free screenings of Get Out on Presidents' Day this month, February 19.

A year after his Oscar-nominated film first landed in theaters, "Get Out" director Jordan Peele has a new message for fans: "Come on in - for free". All screenings start at 7 p.m., and it's recommended you get their early.

The free screenings will be held at 55 AMC theaters nationwide. Adding, "The success of his stunning vision would not have been possible without the audience's passion for both Get Out's groundbreaking storytelling and its deft use of art as society's mirror".

Get Out, which brandishes an original horror twist on a seemingly conventional premise, has managed to make a substantial imprint in the movie industry, evidenced by the array of awards it's already reaped, notably with Oscar nominations for Best Motion Picture, Actor, Director and Screenplay.

Markets that will playing "Get Out" on Presidents' Day include ones in Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Jacksonville, FL; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami/Ft.

Get Out will be playing at more than 30 AMC movie theaters in the United States. Guests must present valid ID.

Made for less than $5 million, "Get Out" earned more than $250 million in the box office worldwide. The film was among the highest grossing R-rated horror movies ever released.
