A 2-year-old OH girl found dead in the freezing cold on her front porch.
The Washington Post reports that the little girl was identified as 2-year-old Wynter Parker, who apparently wandered outdoors without a coat or warm clothing on. The weather in Akron was between 12 and 19 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wynter's mum returned from the shops to find her little girl motionless at around 3.30pm and frantically called 911.
Her mother had left her at home while she ran errands but the father, who works nights, fell asleep in the day, Fox News reported.
Police have not released the name of the toddler or her mother, but the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office tells Fox 8 the toddler suffered severe hypothermia.
No charges have been filed.
