Isabelle Olsson, lead designer for home hardware for Google, Inc., introduces the new Google Home Mini at a product launch event, October 4, 2017, at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco, California.

With Google Home Mini and Google Home Max in addition to original Google Home, we brought you even more ways to use the Assistant in your home. With all these choices, you've connected millions of new smart home devices to Google Home every month.

Enjoy The GearBrain and let us know if you don't see a product listed - but are searching for a solution that works specifically with either Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

It's pretty easy to guess that the Home Mini was the most popular among the three since it was on sale for $29 throughout the holiday season. And with the start of CES in Las Vegas, we're in for more previews into the voice-activated Internet of Things universe.

Google says since October one Google Home device - both the Home and Mini - sells every minute, with more than 400 million devices installed with Google Assistant. We're expecting the company to introduce more features for the United States market.

Google in November rolled out an update that will allow you to use Home speakers as intercom systems in your house. Amazon pioneered the phenomenon in 2014 with its Echo speaker range, before Google followed suit two years later with Home.

Amazon and Google are now vying to produce the best smart speakers and assistants in the hopg of dominating the booming market.

Meanwhile Amazon, Google's main rival in the smart speaker space has not revealed exactly how many Echo smart speakers it has sold but it pegged the number of its competing Echo Dot sales in the millions, according to Businessinsider.com.
