Justin Timberlake is bringing his tour to the Bay Area

The Grammy Award victor made the announcement on Twitter in a video co-starring his friend and late night TV host Jimmy Fallon. It will be Timberlake's third time performing at the high-profile event - which is the highest number of halftime show performances by an individual performer.

Today, the former NSYNC frontman-turned-solo-pop-star announced a 27-city North American tour named after that next album, "Man of the Woods".

The tour is named after Timberlake's forthcoming album, set for release on February 2.

Among the VIP packages JT is offering on his Man of the Woods tour is the "Stage Bar" VIP Experience. That's the main idea", adding, "The tour will be able to bring the outside in. Timberlake says in the tour's trailer.

He explains, "I want people to see the inspiration for how it (album) ended up sounding". He continued, "I've never seen that done before-bring the outside in".

American Express presale for the Tulsa show begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, and runs through 5 p.m. Sunday, January 28. Timberlake plays a Steve Jobs-styled robot inventor.
