A New York Police Department detective said the driver targeted the victims in Queens, but terrorism is not suspected.
Police say a man angry about a parking dispute stabbed two people and then drove into a group of people on a New York City sidewalk, leaving one person dead and several others injured, one critically.
Another witness saw the driver slam into a parked auto before careening toward the victims.

"I just saw a couple of kids, just fighting", she said. "Suddenly I just see the white vehicle driving through the sidewalk".
Ozzie Rogers, who witnessed the incident, told the New York Daily News that he saw the vehicle go at least 50 miles per hour on the sidewalk. They were all screaming, it was insane.
Police are still looking for the driver. Several people were yelling at the man to stop when witnesses say a auto came barreling down the sidewalk and crashed into them before taking off. It wasn't immediately clear if the arrest was in connection with the stabbing or the crash.
