Police are still searching for a missing 17-year-old girl in Florida who is believed to have left home with a 27-year-old high school soccer coach this weekend.

Her mother discovered she was gone Sunday morning, and after realizing her auto and cellphone were still at the home, they called family and friends and then reported her missing to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say Caitlyn Frisina was last seen in the area of the 600th block of SW Markham Street in Lake City on Saturday. "We don't care what's happened", she said. She has a big heart.

Deputies said foot steps leading away from the home indicated she was alone when she left.

On Sunday, the teenage girl withdrew $200 from an ATM in St. Marys, Georgia, authorities said.

Caitlyn Frisina (l.) is suspected to be with Rian Rodriguezin (r.). The girl's father, who is the head soccer coach, hired Rodriguez past year. Rodriguez is not employed in any other capacity by the school district.

The two might be traveling in a red Mercury Sable, according to Action News Jax.

If located, Caitlyn would be returned to her parents' custody in Columbia County. But authorities "believe strongly they're heading northeast", Smith said.

The Columbia County school district has suspended Rodriguez, saying he will be restricted from having any contact with students.

The assistant coach, Clayton McPeak, will take over for now, Carswell said. "I have always had a good work ethic and am a person that is for what's best for the team, as well as being a team player.Soccer was and is my first love". He was also involved with the team for which Caitlyn played.
