The Raiders are also one game out of first after the Kansas City Chiefs dropped their third game in a row to the Bills on Sunday.

Despite losing his top two receivers, one to ejection and one to a concussion, Carr had a more than efficient afternoon.

Cooper scored his fifth touchdown of the year prior to coming out of the game. The return team only had one kick return (five yards), and Jalen Richard returned four punts for a combined 25 yards. As a team, the Raiders averaged an underwhelming 2.8 yards per carry. Paxton Lynch was straight up bad. Lynch finished his first National Football League start with only 41 yards on nine completions and one interception to Navorro Bowman, the first pick of the season for the Raiders defense.

Siemian, who started the first seven games of the season after beating out Lynch to earn the starting job in August, entered the game in relief and led the Broncos to 14 unanswered points as he completed 11 of 21 passes for 149 yards with the two touchdowns. Oakland did just enough in the first three quarters to give itself enough cushion when Siemian picked up steam, but there are still concerns with the Raiders defending the pass. At 3-8, the Broncos are almost eliminated from the playoffs so squeaking out a few wins and lowering their position in the draft may not be a priority. No Denver rusher had more than 20 yards, and that came from Lynch on two carries.

The Oakland Raiders kept their name in the AFC playoff race with a win over the division rival Denver Broncos, 21-14.
