'Black Mirror' Trailer for Disturbing Jodie Foster Directed Episode Debuts

Black Mirror TV show on Netflix

New Black Mirror's Season 4 Trailer Is Creepy And Powerful

But how far is too far? Still no word on the season's release date.

Rosemarie DeWitt stars as a mother who resorts to drastic measures after her child almost disappears. However, Sarah quickly goes missing, giving the mother a scare.

We'll find out when Season 4 premieres on Netflix. After frantically trying to find her, she shows up but DeWitt's character is clearly unsettled and decides to make her daughter go through a procedure where it doesn't happen again. In Season 4 of "Black Mirror", she's directing an episode that looks like a real panic room for 2017.

"'The key to good parenting", the trailer ominously reads, "is control". But in "Black Mirror", technology always comes at a price.

Before you jump to conclusions about how this will all end, let's just remember that happy endings on Black Mirror aren't unheard of.

The trailer is a short, one-minute look at the episode called "ArkAngel" which we received out of context stills for back in September. The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones.

"When writing [the episodes] I never think any of these things are going to come true, and then it seems like some of them do, which is a bit worrisome, generally", he said.

That's the tagline from the company who promises to help this woman keep tabs on her daughter but when odd things start happening including creepy drawings and animals freaking out whenever her child is around, the mother has to wonder what this technological terror is costing her daughter for the sake of security.
