Khalighi said once in the apartment, Simmons became sexually aggressive, yanking off her clothes.
"I looked over at Brett and said 'help me, '" Khalighi told the Los Angeles Times. "In that moment, the realisation fell on me that they were in it together".
Khalighi accused Simmons of trying to force her to have intercourse with him, but she "fought it wildly".
'Everything that occurred between Keri and me occurred with her full consent and participation, ' Simmons said in a statement.
"I guess I just acquiesced", she told LA Times.
At that point she said she felt "disgusting" and went to take a shower.
Minutes later, she alleged, Simmons walked up behind her in the shower and briefly penetrated her without her consent.
The Hollywood Reporter says Venit has been placed on a leave-of-absence by WME following the claims. "'It hurt so much'". At the time, Ratner was still a music video director who was building influence in the industry through his close ties with Simmons.
Meanwhile, Ratner - through his attorney - said he had "no recollection" of Khalighi asking for his help and said he did not see her "protest".
Ratner stands accused of varying degrees of predatory behavior by several actresses, including Natasha Henstridge, Jaime Ray Newman, Ellen Page, Katharine Towne, and Olivia Munn.
Variety reported earlier this month that Ratner and Simmons were investigated for an alleged sexual battery in 2001 in Beverly Hills, but no charges were filed. He says Khalighi's allegation "does a disservice to those who have been true victims of sexual harassment".
A third witness statement was submitted by Simmons to the Times wherein the witness' name was redacted also indicated that "at no time during the time that I spent with Russell and Keri that Saturday did I observe Keri appearing to be in distress or doing anything that appeared to be against her own free will".
"I completely and unequivocally deny the horrendous allegations of non-consensual sex against me with every fiber of my being", the mogul wrote. If you would like to talk to a counsellor about rape, sexual assault or domestic violence, give the people over at 1800 RESPECT a call on 1800 737 732.
Khalighi added that she also reached out to Simmons the day the Times published a story about Ratner's alleged misconduct, telling him that she was thinking about coming forward with her story.
