However, shoppers at the White Bridge Road location in West Nashville, Tennessee who were there at the right time ran into something far less mundane: Taylor Swift picking up a copy of Reputation, as The Tennessean reports.
If "reputation" indeed sells over 1.3 million copies, it will set a new career record for Swift.
Reputation is now 2017's biggest-selling album in the USA passing Ed Sheeran's ÷, which has sold 919,000 since its release in March.
The album also becomes Taylor's fourth to score a million-selling week, following 2014's 1989 (1.29 million), Red in 2012 (1.21 million) and Speak Now in 2010 (1.05 million). It's the first album to sell a million copies in a tracking week in almost two years, since Adele's 25 sold 1.16 million copies in the frame ending December 25, 2015 (the album's fifth week on sale).
So basically, when it comes to burning up the Billboard album charts, Taylor Swift is mainly in competition with herself.
Additionally, at the beginning of the sexy track, Miz Swift sings, "there is an indentation/in the shape of you", possibly referencing Sheeran's smash hit. Follow her on Instagram!
Fans quickly noticed her in the store (obviously) and immediately stopped her (and her band) to get autographs, take selfies, and even listen to the album with her.
