Women Accuse Louis CK Of Sexual Misconduct

Louis CK Movie Premiere Canceled On The Verge Of Potentially “Damning” New York Times Story

Louis CK's Movie Premiere Canceled Ahead of Reported New York Times Story

In the first of several allegations against the Louie star, comedians Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov told the newspaper that C.K. allegedly invited them back to his hotel room following their appearance at a comedy festival in Colorado in 2002. "My manager and my agent have told me that", she said in a podcast, that has since been deleted, via Variety. "I think the line gets crossed when you take all your clothes off and start masturbating", Ms. Wolov told the Times.

As soon as they sat down in his room, still wrapped in their winter jackets and hats, Louis C.K. asked if he could take out his penis, the women said.

I Love You, Daddy was set to premiere in New York on Thursday (November 9) but was called off just hours before after reports emerged of a New York Times article detailing allegations levelled at the comedian.

The Hollywood Reporter said the schedule changes were announced as The New York Times is preparing to publish a possibly damaging story about the comedian.

The event was pulled "due to unexpected circumstances", the film's distribution company, the Orchard, said in an email.

MS comedian Tig Notaro, whose first comedy album was released by Louis C.K., said she heard of his reputation from other women and suggested it's not exactly a secret in the comedy world.

As rumours have swirled about alleged sexual misconduct in recent years, C.K. has denied any allegations of wrongdoing.

In September, CK was asked about rumours of sexual misconduct by the NY Times at the Toronto film festival, which he dismissed as simply "rumours".

Louis CK wrote and directed the controversial I Love You, Daddy, and he stars as a television writer and producer whose teenage daughter (Chloë Moretz) is seduced by a predatory 68-year-old filmmaker (John Malkovich). Louis C.K. was a writer and producer for the show at the time.

Louis C.K is the latest high-profile entertainment figure to be publicly accused of sexual misconduct.

The women went on the record with the New York Times, saying the alleged behavior goes back at least a decade. She says he asked her over and over if he could masturbate in front of her, and eventually she agreed.

Rumors of alleged inappropriate behavior involving Louis C.K. have been gossiped about for years. I do the work I do, and what happens next I can't look after.
