Alongside the Ocarina of Time 2DS bundle, Nintendo also highlighted a software bundle.
Nintendo has therefore announced that on Black Friday, a Zelda special edition will be released. It will come bundled with an in-built copy of Ocarina of Time.
The other new Black Friday bundle is a limited "explorer's edition" version of the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which includes the regular base game, along with a rather nice-looking 100-page explorer's guide and a two-sided map for helping you make your way around Hyrule. This is ideal for young people who want to be introduced to one of the best games in The Legend of Zelda series on a durable and accessible portable system. It will cost $79.99, the same price as the New Super Mario Bros.
Given that Nintendo recently pushed out the New Nintendo 2DS XL, it's interesting that this Zelda-branded unit is one that the company has made a decision to push during the holidays. Thus, this Black Friday Explorer Edition is another good reason to get the game if you haven't yet.
Lastly, a special edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that includes a selection of the game's soundtrack, a steelbook case and a 220-page art book will be available for $99.99 starting December 1.
A white-and-orange New Nintendo 2DS XL system at a suggested retail price of $149.99 (now available). A Nintendo Switch Pro Controller themed around Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be available at a suggested retail price of $99.99 (both launch December 1). If the product itself hasn't got you too excited, then perhaps the price will.
First up is a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Black Friday bundle.
