He's said he's "mad at god" for not protecting him from the repercussions of his own actions. "Eric Bolling's son is dead". That same day, his father had been dismissed from Fox News. The New York Times wants to take me out of the marketplace, this is the second time they have attacked me. "Is dead. Because of allegations made-in my opinion, and I know this to be true-against Mr. Bolling".
Despite O'Reilly's ouster, the death of Fox News founder Roger Ailes, and a new system at the company for reporting and dealing with harassment allegations (which led to the firing of Bolling and former Fox Sports head Jamie Horowitz), Fox News continues grapple with the aftermath of having turned a blind eye to sexual-harassment claims for years.
Former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly said Monday he's "mad at God" for the sexual misconduct allegations he's faced in recent months.
But hey, it's only been a few weeks, so there's still plenty of time for Hollywood to even the score by disappointing us all and welcoming Weinstein back, just like Fox News and O'Reilly after a few months.
The presenter, who was sacked from Fox News in April, is thought to have made settlements with at least six women since 2004.
Once the host of the highest rated cable news show, "The O'Reilly Factor", O'Reilly's fortunes started to turn in April when the Times reported that he had paid about $13 million in settlements to five women during his tenure at Fox News.
Bolling, who was sacked by Fox after an investigation into claims of sexual harassment, responded that it was "beyond inappropriate" for O'Reilly to bring up the death of his son, adding that "my parting from Fox News was in no way connected to the tragic news of my son's passing".
In what he said to the Times' about Bolling's son, O'Reilly clearly expected to find an understanding ally in his former Fox colleague. The coroner's office would not comment on Bolling's statement or the cause of his son's death Monday, the Daily Camera said.
"Eric Bolling is a stand up guy who deserves the respect I have for him", O'Reilly added in a follow-up tweet. And thank you for the darling bodysuits + snuggly - it's hard to believe we'll soon have a little human being in our lives tiny enough to fit in there.
Meanwhile, O'Reilly had other things to say Monday about entities he believes have it out for him.
