The TOWIE star and purveyor of may-mays was at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards to announce the victor of Best TV Show and found herself falling through some kind of trap-door on the stage.
When she fell, some of the Love Island stars had been making their way up to the stage to collect their gong and immediately ducked down to help her up.
"It was my left side that hit as I went down".
"Guys it's ok I'm alive I've always said I'm like Bridget Jones don't worry everyone xx best and worst moment of my life", she tweeted to her 1.29 million followers.
'I must say I'm in a bit of shock still. I have a bit of a booty going on. "I've got a bit of a bruise on my left bum cheek - but other than that, I'm rocking and rolling".
"I mean guys I'm going to have to take the whole of the next year off just to collaborate with the pop stars".

However, Gemma being Gemma then joked that the incident might give her leverage to get on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. "Best and worse moment for me".
She added: "It's just one of these moments I don't think I'm ever going to live down".
But, taking it like a real champ, Gemma took to Insta after to laugh it off and let her fans know she was OK.
Glad you're okay, GC!
