Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures.
The Nintendo Switch and Wii U aren't the only Nintendo consoles to get Minecraft. No word as of yet if the game will see additional features and modes added to it. It was on the latest Nintendo Direct event on Wednesday, September 13, and they announced that the game would be made available on the New 3DS handheld as well.
Creative Mode is, of course, the sandbox building mode of the game, which has resulted in some magnificent digital constructions that have gone viral at least in the gaming community.
One nifty feature about Minecraft being on the New 3DS is that it places your inventory on the bottom screen, which you can arrange using touch controls if buttons aren't your jam. The launch comes just a few months after the game became available on the Nintendo Switch. One restriction is that Minecraft will work only on the new 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS XL devices.
According to Minecraft's official site, multiplayer won't be available at launch but local multiplayer will come in a future update.
