Major manufacturers such as LG and Samsung have built their smartphones around a dual camera setup. To compare, the smaller, Google Pixel 2 smartphone features the model number G011A.

Google today went live with a teaser Web site that asks would-be buyers, "Thinking about changing phones?". Another wanted to know "Why doesn't my phone understand me?". Either way though, we don't have long left to wait to see the official announcement. Stating that it's amusing we should ask, because their solution is coming on October 4th. The video shows a Google search for various questions about smartphones, hinting at some of the problems Google is looking to address with the Pixel 2. As the conference is just less than a month away, we can expect the invites to be sent out soon. Google Lens, which was demoed at I/O 2017, will nearly certainly debut on the new Pixel phones.

The locations that Google is sending Pixel XL as replacements are yet to be verified but reports indicate that consumers in the US and Canada are only getting the Pixel smartphone.
