Mark has banged the highest amount of his career by doing high budget like "Transformers: The last night" and comedy squeal Daddy's "Home 2" which is to be released in November this year. Wahlberg takes over the spot from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who earned $65 million over the same period.
Other names on Forbes' list include Matt Damon ($21 million), Ryan Gosling ($29 million), Tom Hanks ($31 million) and Tom Cruise ($43 million), among many others, including a few big Bollywood stars.

This disparity, Forbes added, is attributable to the roles that are available. It was headed by mark Wahlberg, whose income for the year amounted to $68 million. Emma Stone, who was this year's top-ranked actress, lands at No. 15 when stacked up with the men.
Also among Wahlberg's credits is Pain & Gain opposite Johnson, and now the actor has passed his friend and colleague on a very prestigious list.
According to Forbes' 2017 list of the world's highest-paid actors, the Boston-bred star is now the biggest money maker in Hollywood.

Stone recently told Out Magazine that throughout her career, she's needed her male co-stars to take pay cuts for there to be parity. Unexpectedly, Adam Sandler and Jackie Chan hit the fourth and fifth spot with $50.5 and $49 million in earnings, respectively.
This year's actors boast much higher figures than this year's actresses, announced last week.
