Saif Ali Khan's look from Kaalakaandi. We say that because he is seen doing outlandish things, without even realising that he is actually doing it. Of the film, Saif, 46, told news agency IANS, " Kaalakaandi is a film I'm so happy to be a part of.
If Saif Ali Khan in the role of Karan Singh Rathod in Ek Haseena Thi or Langda Tyagi in Omkara still gives you creeps, then get set to watch Nawab of Pataudi in yet another twisted character.
From pulling off insane dancing acts in front of a random passerby to wearing weird costumes like a vulture with yellow wings, Saif is all amusing and high in the character. Right from running and screaming like his life depends on it, driving in full speed to wearing a costume that makes him look like a hawk with yellow wings-Saif is seen doing everything. "It's a cross-section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers, and idealistic lovers all mixed in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night". The movie has been directed and written by debutant director Akshat Verma, who has previously written Delhi Belly.
Saif's earlier film Rangoon couldn't do wonders at the box office.
The stars in Kaalakaandi movie was Saif Ali Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam in a unique appearance.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will join with Karan Johar to host the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in NY next month. Both the films are expected to release this year.
Yesterday, the makers of the film have released the teaser.
