Beyonce, the new mother shared the first picture of herself with her twins whom she has named-Sir Carter and Rumi.
After weeks of speculation Beyonce has FINALLY confirmed the arrival of her twins by sharing the first photo of them.
Earlier, television host Jimmy Kimmel pranked his audience on the show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' claiming that he has first photograph of the twins.
Neither Beyonce, one of the world's most popular singers, nor her husband, 47-year-old rap star and entrepreneur Jay-Z, had made any announcement about the birth until now.
The babies' names have reportedly both already been trademarked by the music power couple. Sir Carter and Rumi join 5-year-old big sister Blue Ivy. Held closely to her chest, wrapped in floral swaddling, are two small infants: Sir and Rumi.
The image is strikingly similar to the photo Beyonce shared to announce her pregnancy in February. "They're here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday", Mathew Knowles had tweeted on June 18. At the time, she said her family was "blessed two times over".
The Instagram post also served as the official confirmation of the babies names. "The Carters", she wrote at the time. With the photo, she also brought full circle her record-breaking pregnancy announcement, proving sometimes the world is OK and pure and right, and if you believe in Beyoncé, happiness is possible.
In the post, liked by more than 11 million followers, the singer preemptively thanked fans for their well wishes. And the birth of his twins that took place on June 19, was done in the utmost discretion.
