Two people were rescued and rushed to a hospital in critical condition Tuesday after they were involved in an accident at a Queens construction site, FDNY officials said.
Officials say a boom truck was loading material onto the roof when the load fell onto the roof causing it to collapse.

The mishap took place at 31-25 28th Road in Long Island City around 3:40 p.m., when a crane operator accidentally dropped the bundle onto the building's top floor, according to the FDNY. A third person is trapped.
"Today was a attractive example of people who are willing to risk their lives to save this one individual", Nigro said at an evening news conference.
The building is in the process of being converted from a two-family house to a three-family house, according to the Dept. of Buildings database.
A permit for a heavy duty sidewalk shed was approved on June 2, 2017, according to DOB records.
